Joninių 24 valandų lenktynės baidarėmis - tai renginys skirtas irklavimo entuziastams, keliautojams ir nuotykių ieškotojams. Varžybų tikslas - įveikti kuo didesni atstumą baidarėmis per 24 valandas. Lenktynių dalyviai startuoja Baltųjų Lakajų ežere birželio 23d. Toliau, trumpiausią metų naktį, per vaizdingą Labanorų girią, keliauja gražiausiomis, Joninių laužų nušviestomis Aukštaitijos upėmis – Lakaja, Žeimena bei Nerimi.
Dalyvių starto laikai individualūs. Todėl iki pat finišo momento niekas nebus tikras, ar ankščiau (vėliau) startavęs varžovas neįveiks didesnio atstumo. Kiekvieno ekipažo starto laikai nustatomi burtų keliu, likus savaitei iki starto laiko. Rezultatai priklauso nuo pasirinktos taktikos, irkluotojo pasiruošimo ir atkaklumo.
Tai yra visiškai autonomiškas plaukimas: visus parai laiko reikalingus resursus dalyviai planuoja ir gabena patys, draudžiama bet kokia pagalba iš šalies.
Dalyvių vieta trasoje fiksuojama GPS siųstuvų pagalba. Informacija apie situaciją bus nuolat atnaujinama varžybų puslapyje.
Lenktynės vyksta dvejuose atskiruose grupėse – K1 (vienvietės) ir K2 (dvivietės) baidarės. Visi dalyviai bus apdovanoti atminimo medaliais ir diplomais. Kiekvienos grupės, pirmų trijų vietų nugalėtojai gaus papildomus prizus. Po varžybų visų lauks karštas maistas ir apdovanojimų ceremonija prie laužo.

Midsummer day 24-hour paddle race - this is an event for paddling enthusiasts, travelers and adventure seekers. The goal of the competition is to cover the greatest possible distance by kayak in 24 hours. The participants of the race start at Baltųjų Lakajų lake on June 23. Then, on the shortest night of the year, they travel through the picturesque Labanorai forest along the most beautiful rivers of Aukštaitija lit by bonfires - Lakaja, Žeimena and Neris.
The start times of the participants are individual. Therefore, until the moment of the finish, no one will be sure whether the competitor who started earlier (later) will not overcome a greater distance. The start times of each crew are determined randomly, one week before the start time. The results depend on the chosen tactics, the rower's preparation and persistence.
This is completely autonomous rowing: participants plan and transport all the resources needed for the day by themselves, any help from the country is prohibited.
The location of the participants on the track is fixed with the help of GPS transmitters. Information about the situation will be constantly updated on the competition page.
The race takes place in two separate groups - K1 (single) and K2 (double) kayaks. All participants will be awarded commemorative medals and diplomas. The winners of the first three places in each group will receive additional prizes. After the competition, everyone will be treated to a hot meal and an awards ceremony by the fire.
